What is Epiphany Eve? Watching a movie in peace. Obviously when you watch a film there is always the risk of being faced with something squallido ... but there is a risk with so much pleasure ... is the magic of cinema ... you want to put the pleasure, however, to take delight from something magnificent?

Locandina del film Two Tigers di Sandro Cecca (2007)

Playbill of the film Two Tigers Sandro Cecca (2007)

Sin, however, that this is more Two Tigers side of the "wretched" that the "magnificent". The plot is rather banal and easily predictable, the action scenes are as hectic as you cut ask if you saw a scene of action (probably expedient used by the director to compensate for the clumsiness of the protagonists), acting anonymously, dialogues and no final insulso.

So what leads us to see this movie until the end? Well, personally, the Hungarian actress Andrea Osvàrt (which most people remember alongside Pippo Baudo in Sanremo 2008) has helped me keep the TV switched on for hours and twenty required by the film. More than co-starring Selena Khoo which in addition to his lower back does not show other talents (even in the climax scene of the film). Is not clear is that the Osvàrt is from another planet ... it is the right actress for this kind of film, there is, has a nice pair of boobs who do not tune in genre films, and the only suspense that keeps you glued is see if it leaves out some lesbi contour (and I do not say if the case) ... Meanwhile, history is futile and useless to follow.

What a ridiculous film: The poses of the two protagonists before and after a scene of struggle.

Good film: The naked Andrea Osvàrt.

What indecent film: The story and the ending.

Virtually impossible ... networking products currently on the market are not satisfactory. An attempt in depressed brand emblazoned or suspected ... you browse these booklets with features: adls2 +, N and N1 wireless +, routing, QoS, Capitve Portal, Gigabit, and bla bla bla. To achieve what? nothing products ... all-in-one is almost to be discarded, if on the one hand a device excels in a particular role to turn the other sins ... and so on ... Linksys, D-Link, Belkin, NetGear, Us Robotics , Zyxel ... and even Fritz Box (splendid in its features but practically useless in the report functionality and price). And then?
Then I almost stew ... computing is resulting in more intensive techniques of slavery ... in an inescapable tide of idiocy (and facebook second life) to the confraternity of the products that you will hardly spend quiet nights thinking of eternal stability.
The solution? For me is simple ... the router me and I realize I may manage it.
First the software ... and ... the rock is indestructible: the FreeBSD and in particular the draft m0n0Wall.
No system of embedded various brands can ensure robustness, customization and functionality of this project.

In concluding this brief note: why spend almost 200 euros for an all-in-one performance of doubtful when I can build one in my image and likeness at the same price?

Read the original: Debian 5.0 "Lenny" perfect timing for KDE on pollycoke:)

This is not a review of the newly released Debian Lenny, but I really believe that not even try this very good version undoubtedly 1st I only see one thing in my infinite "Which distribution for KDE 4? Collection of information. "

There is an old adage on the release of Debian, which is that each new version of Debian is released when it is ready. " Not before, not after, not Fixed 2nd This has automatically resulted in Debian for the self-exclusion from synchrony with the main desktop free ... But being at home Debian / KDE, it just Lenny output contains the ultra-stable KDE 3 and also finally opens the way for the entry of a KDE 4 finally used in the next Debian. Choice of a dual rationality unassailable.

This puts one hand Debian "in competition", the other would indicate that I should wait until the next version will not be ready. Not before, not after: /

Read the original: Ubuntu Mobile could abandon GNOME: or, at pollycoke:)

My easy prophecy on news of 2009 is just a confirmation of excellence, a spokesperson for Canonical says that Ubuntu Mobile could leave to take the GNOME Qt just 'known' LGPL (Adios thanks for the alert!). This could also mean KDE, but when the revolution would be the big step from GTK + to Qt.

Now that the two toolkits is finally equal from a legal standpoint, the reasons to stay with the GTK + would seem to disappear and would instead pressing the incentive to make the big step into the Qt: one of the many would be the best performance of applications on Qt reduced screens 1st And then I want to removed the suffix 'Mobile' ... Follow the leader leader leader;)
